Another movie that didn't play here in the Bulkley Valley was Ron Howards adaptation of the Broadway play Frost/Nixon.
I had the pleasure of seeing it in the comfort of my own home on Friday. Intrigued by good reviews and trailer (trailers can make some of the worst movies look good)I was curious to see how you would make a movie about an now famous, 1977 interview between a British tv host and the only American President to resign from office.
There's plenty of drama that went on heading into this potentially huge interview that no major network wanted anything to do with when David Frost pitched it.
The film reunites its original two stars from the Broadway productions of the play, Michael Sheen as British television broadcaster David Frost and Frank Langella as former United States President Richard Nixon.
CHeck it out. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
