Ah yes, baseball, beer & a hot July evening. So was my last Monday night when I went down to Seattle to see the Jays take on the Mariners @ Safeco field in Seattle. I went to the game with Jordan, who ended up having to meet me down there. We realized, hours after the last of our contact with each other in Vancouver, that both our cell phones went in to "roaming" mode as soon as we crossed the border making almost impossible to communicate with each other. We miraculously hooked up just as I was about to head into the ballpark. I still can't believe it. The Jays lost. Shit. But Safeco Field makes it all very enjoyable. Always good.

Me & Jen did Critical Mass on Friday night. A bike ride of thousands of people trying to focus attention on alternative transportation. Everyone & anyone meet at the art GAllery @ 5:30 on the last Friday of every month and then ride around Vancouver. Great fun taking over the streets and being part of a movement that supports positive changes to the way we live. It was amazing seeing the reaction of people who rely on the internal combustion engine to get around. The next afternoon we attended Varekai (Cirque Du Solieil) and I was blown away by the originality, creativity & talent of it all. If you ever have the chance to attend any version of the Cirque Du Soleil, you must. A great 2 days. Oh ya, France knocked out Brazil. Great.
