Vancouver International Airport, December 28, 2008. This is the plane that was going to take me back to Smithers to finish my Christmas holiday. My holiday plan was to go to Edmonton for a few days and hang out with my immediate family. Because of all the extreme weather on the West coast this December my connecting flight to Edmonton was canceled. I stayed in Vancouver. This plane didn't leave Vancouver either. The weather was fine but there was a technical issue so everybody that was on board, went back into the airport and waited for Air Candada to hook us up with a plane that was safe to fly.
