Jen & I spent seven days in Jamaica over Christmas. It was the first time I'd ever been there and I loved it. Perfect weather, beautiful people, reggae everywhere. It was a great experience and I recommend it to you if you're thinking about going that way some time. Here are some random photos.

Happy New Year! What a thrilling end/start to my year. Spent seven days over Christmas in Negril, Jamaica returning New Years Eve. In the morning I was swimming in almost perfect, Bloody Bay basking in 29 degrees and sunshine, at the end I was walking with Jen to the Sovreign Room through a snow blanketed Thunder Bay. Fluffy falling snow and relatively warm winter air. An Anchor Steam, a shot of Jager and a kiss to kiss off 2011. What a trip. I will post Jamaica photos as well as write out my top moments of 2011 later this week. I started my 2012 by watching this beautiful 20 minute video documenting a surfing sojourn to the Great Bear Rainforest on the BC coast. My twin sent me the link a long time ago but only watched it now. A great reminder that there's nothing more beautiful than nature. I hope your 2012 is happy and prosperous.
