One of best things about doing my internship in Edmonton is that most of my family live here. Last Weekend me and Jen went down to Drumheller to visit my Grandma, Ellen Hoy. She's pretty amazing. When I was having trouble as a teenager in high school it seemed that she was the only person who was concerned about how I felt. Other people were more concerned with telling me what I should be doing and how I was just fucking up. She mailed me a letter that said that she knew how things can get stressfull and confusing when you're a teenager.
We spent the day talking, grocery shopping and looking at old pictures. She has this huge collection of bells that's been accumulating since I was a kid and once people know you collect something they love to help. Before we left she let me Jen take one each. An extra bonus was seeing my Aunt Marge for the first time in years. She's also my God parent so that was very cool. They both have great energy, great day.
