In the previous post I had alluded that starting pitcher Shaun Marcum would be returning this season to help the Jays starting rotation.
Last September after an abbreviated start he left with elbow pain, the Jays released information that Marcum would need Tommy John surgery and would miss the rest of the 2008 season and likely all of 2009.
It's really to bad Shaun was drafted by the Jays and had become a big part of the starting rotation. Let's hope he can return to his fine form next year.
