After my apartment and the radio station, the place I probably spend the most time at is The Smithers Civic Centre. My hockey league plays here on Sundays, Tuesdays & Fridays. The radio station I work at is broadcasting about 13 games of the Central Interior Hockey League. Half the games will be broadcast from the Civic Centre. We did our first two broadcasts last weekend. Smithers won thier home opener against Hazelton and then they went to Houston and lost to the Luckies. The Houston Luckies were, pretty much, a one man show. Center, Blair Lefebvre #27 scored five goals in a dominating performance.
